Material Object Or Chance Of A Life Time?

If you could choose between a material object or a chance of a life time, what would you take?

My friend and I were having a fight.

Would you choose a Corvette

Or

having the chance to go to Africa for 3 months to help change an Orphans life forever. Material Object Or Chance Of A Life Time?
...Corvette...sell the corvette and go to TAHITI...Material Object Or Chance Of A Life Time?
i'd go to africa! for the average human being, the ';value'; of the joy one feels and the sense of personal accomplishment one gains by helping others in a positive and meaningful way is exponentially greater than that of the cost of a corvette. the fond and happy memories created by helping others in need last forever as the corvette will only rust, break down and cost you headaches over a period of time.

What if that orphan grows up to be the president of that African country all because of the path you helped to put him/her on?
I choose a chance of a lifetime. When i am 70, i want to have beautiful memories to share among my grandchildren, rather than wealth that brings only hunger to my heirs...
africa!!!!!1
