parallaxAn apparent shift in position that occurs when an object is viewed from 2 diffirent positions?
When an object is viewed from different directions its position against distant objects appears to shift, the apparent shift in position is called parallax
When a nearby object is viewed from one direction and then viewed from another direction ,then line of sight ( line joining eye and object) turns through an angle called ';parallax angle';
The line of sight turns through negligible angle when a distant object is seen. Hence nearby object appears to move against the distant background when observation position is shifted
